I have had Siamese cats all my life, my father bred Siamese before me and had some very beautiful cats,  As a youngster I used to dress them up in my doll clothes and wheel them around in my pram!!!

On the day i married I had kittens and three of them came to live with me when we  moved into our new house in Dawlish Devon.

I then registered the WYNHAM PREFIX.

I used to breed and show my cats at all the cat shows and did very well. I bred many champions and some beautiful cats. However I later became very disappointed with the Siamese cats being shown, they became like bendy toys and this was not for me.

After alot of thought I decided that I would go along a different line. I wanted the Siamese characteristics.................extrovert, intelligent and naughty but I wanted a bigger cat all over.

This I did..........by breeding what I have now called the Si-Rag, this is a Siamese crossed with a Rag Doll. The Rag Doll is very laid back, gentle and loves to be a big part of the family home. Add to this the characteristics of the Siamese and you get a Si-Rag. A gorgeous big boned cat with a short dense coat, like a seal pup. Very much like the old fashioned Siamese but with the characteristics of both breeds together, along with the piercing sapphire blue eyes of the siamese. All this adds up to one gorgeous cat who most people look at and say WOW!!!

I don't show my cats any longer as they and I prefer my to be at home. The cats prefer lounging around on the sofas or in front of the fireplace, instead of being in cages at a cat show.

Once I have bred 5 generations of Si-Rags the GCCF will register them as a new breed and this is my aim for the future. After all everyone deserves to see and own a beautiful Si-Rag.
